Melting scrap prices fluctuated across markets on 19 Nov’21. Prices remained supported in Punjab’s Mandi Gobindgarh and Durgapur in eastern India, following tight supply amidst upbeat semi-finished steel prices. On the other hand, a nominal price correction was seen in Gujarat’s Alang market due to limited demand for semi-finished products by standalone mills in yesterday’s trading session, SteelMint notes.
