India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) remained unchanged w-o-w at INR 83,000/t ($971/t) exw-Durgapur on 15 May’25. Indicative offers were at INR 82,500-84,500/t ($965-988/t), with a deal for 510 t concluded within INR 82,500-83,000/t ($965-971/t). Although demand from steel mills was weak, there was no significant downward pressure on prices. As a result, prices remained stable w-o-w.
