India’s medium-carbon silico manganese prices (Mn: 53%, Si: 20%, C: 0.5% max) inched down by INR 250/t ($3/t) w-o-w to INR 83,250/t ($982/t) exw-Durgapur on 1 May’25. Indicative offers were at INR 82,500-84,000/t ($974-991/t), with a deal for 320 t concluded at INR 83,000/t ($980/t). The price decline resulted from sustained weak demand by steel mills and cautious sentiment across broader markets.
