India’s leading manufacturer of large diameter pipes, MAN Industries, with an installed capacity of 1 mn t, is foraying into the API grade ERW steel pipe segment. In order to serve the hydrocarbon and CGD sectors, the company is setting up a new line to be installed at the existing facility in Gujarat’s Anjar. The total installed capacity will be at 125,000 t and the estimated capex is pegged at approximately INR 150 crore. The new line is expected to be operational by May ’22.
