- Lloyds Metals and Energy has reported a y-o-y rise of 179% in its iron ore output to 10 mnt in FY’24 against 3.6 mnt in FY’23.
- The company has also applied for further expansion of its mining capacity to 55 mnt (including BHQ).
- Meanwhile, direct reduced iron (DRI) production stood at 261,836 t, higher by 28% y-o-y as against 204,161 t in the year-ago period.
