India: Leading stainless steel coil maker hikes 300 series tags by INR 2,000/t ($23/t)

India’s leading stainless steel coil manufacturer increased tags of its 300 series products, effective 17 Mar’25, following a rise in prices of nickel, a key raw material. Notably, this marks the second consecutive upward revision in Mar’25. This week, LME nickel prices breached $16,500/t. As a result, prices of 304 and 316 HRC and CRC grades were raised by INR 2,000/t ($23/t).
