Udupi Power Corporation Limited (UPCL), a LANCO Company, has re-scheduled a tender for purchase of 3 MnT imported Steam coal for its power plant at Udupi (Karnataka) on CIF basis.
Company had floated this last tender for purchase of 3 MnT imported Steam coal in the month of October, 2014 with scheduled technical bids to open on 08 Dec, 2014. Due to poor response, the company has cancelled the tender and re-issued a fresh one.
With reference to the last tender document, product specifications are:
- Imported Steam coal
- Gross Calorific Value (GCV): 5,350-6,250 Kcal/kg
- Moisture (as received basis): 15.5% max
- Ash (air dried basis): 12% max
- Sulphur (air dried basis): 0.8 % max
