KSMCL held an auction for 154,202 t of iron ore lumps and 79,000 t fines from its Thimmappanagudi mines in Bellary, Karnataka, on 27 Aug’24. As per sources, only 8,000 t of lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 53.28%) was booked at the floor price of INR 2,452/t. Prices were on an ex-mines basis, excluding royalty, DMF, and NMET.
