India: ESL hikes long steel prices by up to INR 1,000/t ($12/t)

ESL Steel Ltd. has increased long steel prices by up to INR 1,000/t ($12/t), sources informed BigMint. Post-revision, the effective prices are:

• Rebar (12-32 mm, IS1786): INR 50,500/t ($601/t)
• Wire rod (5.5-6 mm, SAE1008): INR 54,750/t ($652/t)

Prices are landed NCR, excluding GST at 18%.
