India: JSW’s steel sales increase 6%, q-o-q, in Q3FY’22

JSW Steel’s steel sales totalled 4 mn t in Q3FY’22, an increase of 6% q-o-q and 3% y-o-y on the back of increased domestic sales driven by demand from automotives, solar and the appliances sectors.

• Flat steel sales climbed 15% to 3 mn t in Q3 vs Q2.
• Sales of longs reported a decline of 7% to 0.88 mn t in Q3 against Q2.

Exports accounted for 15% of total sales during Q3.
