India: JSW to commence production from new 1.2 mn t/year wire rod mill by Oct

JSW Steel is expanding capacity by commissioning a new 1.2 mn t pa wire rod mill at its Vijaynagar steelworks. Company officials told SteelMint that the expected trial production of 5,000 to 10,000 t of wire rods will take place in Oct’20, With the new mill being commissioned, JSW’s total wire rod production capacity will touch 1.8 mn t pa.
