India: JSW Steel cuts list prices of HRC, CRC for Sept’21

Steel major JSW Steel has reduced list prices by INR 2,000/t for HRC and INR 4,500/t for CRC for Sept’21 delivery, SteelMint learnt from officials.

Revised prices:

• HRC stands at INR 66,000-66,500/t ($903-910/t),
• CRC is at INR 76,000-76,500/t ($1,040-1,047/t)
• Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, excluding GST at 18%.

The price cuts are best seen as a means to boost sales amid persistent sluggishness in domestic demand.
