Steel major, JSW Steel has cut list prices of HRC and CRC by INR 2,000-2500/t ($27-33) for Dec’21. The effective prices for HRC stand at INR 67,500-68,000/t ($900-906) and CRC at INR 74,500-75000/t ($993-1,000), sources informed SteelMint. Prices are on exy-Mumbai basis, exclusive of 18% GST.
The price reduction comes as a result of sluggish domestic demand and falling global prices, SteelMint notes.
