Jindal Steel and Power Ltd (JSPL) had scheduled an auction for 200,000 t of iron ore fines (Fe56.5%) on 20 Jul’22. The material was from the company’s TRB mines in Tensa in Odisha with the floor price set at INR 2,500/wet metric tonne ex-mines (including royalty, DMF and NMET). According to market sources, the tender failed to receive any response owing to the higher base price. The miner has scheduled another auction for similar quantity on 22 Jul’22.
