India: JSPL lifts plate prices by INR 1,000/t ($13/t) for early March deliveries

Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) announced an increase of INR 1,000/t ($13/t) in steel plates for early March sales, SteelMint learnt.
Effective list price for plates (20-40mm) stands at INR 72,500-73,000/t ($954-961/t).
Elevating raw material prices along with the upsurge in global plate prices are the leading factors behind this hike.
