Steel billets prices in China’s Tangshan rose by RMB 50/t ($8/t) d-o-d on 3 Mar’22. Prices stood at RMB 4,680/t ($740/t), inclusive of 13% VAT. According to data maintained with SteelMint, China’s SHFE re-bar futures contract for May’22 delivery closed today at RMB 4,880/t ($772/t), witnessing an increase of RMB 20/t ($3/t), d-o-d.
