- Indian leading stainless-steel maker Jindal Stainless reported that its Q2CY22 profit more than halved to 159.11 crores as against 407.47 in the same period last year.
- On a q-o-q basis, it was down by 50.48% as against 331.32 crores in Q1CY22.
India’s stainless steel industry has been facing tough competition from Chinese and Indonesian manufacturers who have been dumping products in the domestic market.
