Jindal Stainless Ltd. (JSL) has supplied 2,000 t of high-quality stainless steel of varying strength levels to the Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC). A 9 km stretch of the Kanpur Metro Project was inaugurated on 28 Dec’21. The project includes the development of 201 coaches and JSL will supply 9-10 t of stainless steel for each coach, the company announced in a statement.
