India: JSL hikes stainless steel prices by INR 6,000/t

    • India’s largest stainless steel producer, Jindal Stainless Limited (JSL), has announced a price hike of INR 6,000/t in the 316L and varients, sources informed.
    • The price increase was on the back of increased nickel and molybdenum prices, SteelMint understands.
    • As per latest assessment, prices for ferro molybdenum (FeMo60%), ex-plant Nagpur stood at INR 4,412,500/t on 1 Feb’23, up 13% w-o-w.
