JK Cement, in partnership with Container Corporation of India (CONCOR), has launched a long-haul containerised cement rail service connecting the Khemli terminal in Udaipur, Rajasthan, with the Inland Container Depot Whitefield in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The service will link the company’s new Udaipur plant to South India, supporting a shift from road to rail logistics, improving transportation efficiency and optimising long-distance cement distribution.
