Jindal SAW has further increased pellet offers by INR 700/t ($9/t) today. The current offer for Fe 63% pellet stands at INR 11,200/t ($148/t) DAP Kandla, against offers at INR 10,500/t ($138/t) seen in early-Dec’21, SteelMint learnt from sources. The hike in pellet offers in eastern and southern India, following the sponge iron price rally, has resulted in an increase in offers by the company, SteelMint understands.
