Ferrous scrap prices witnessed slight improvement on a d-o-d basis, trade data from a few key locations assessed by SteelMint shows. Prices remained largely supported, following an uptick in sponge iron and semi-finished steel prices. In a few other locations prices remained stable on usual procurement. Scrap prices may witness minor changes in the short term, sources informed SteelMint.
