Major merchant miners have kept Iron ore prices unchanged owing to stagnant demand from Sponge iron and Pellet makers.
Rungta Mines is keeping Iron ore prices unaltered in Odisha. It had last revised its prices on 07 Feb’15.

Serajuddin Mines is offering 5-18 mm Fe 63% at INR 4,850/MT and fines of same grade at INR 2,250/MT (prices are as per loaded into wagons and including royalty). Essel Mining, another major merchant miner, has also kept Iron ore prices unchanged.
In Jharkhand, Rungta Mines is offering Fe 63% fines at INR 2,800/MT (as per loaded into wagon).
Sponge iron (C-DRI) prices fall drastically: Sponge iron prices have come down by INR 950/MT in Central India, while in Southern India it has fallen by INR 100-200/MT on the backdrop of low buying.
