Indian Oil Corp. (IOCL) has approved an investment proposal for a crude oil pipeline system with capacity of 17.5 mn t per annum to be laid from Mundra to Panipat. The project is expected to be completed in 36 months at an estimated cost of INR 9,028 crore. It will support the additional crude oil requirement of the Panipat refinery, which will be boosted to 25 mn t/year from 15 mn t/year.
