In a confirmed deal, 2,000 t of Indonesian 5,100 GAR coal has been sold at INR 8,300/t, ex-Vizag (excluding cess and GST). The sharp rise in high-CV Indonesian coal prices has dented buying interest from rolling mills – key consumers of 5,100 GAR coal – since the last few days. Offers for 3,400 GAR coal are currently being heard at INR 4,600/t, ex-Vizag.
