IF re-bar prices remained volatile on a d-o-d basis, as prices varied across regions. Spot demand and trading remained subdued for the fourth day in a row. Marginal correction in raw material prices prompted some manufacturers to hold on to offers. However, lack of demand and higher inventories at mills are forcing producers to adjust production levels as per booking orders. Near-term prices may fluctuate or remain under pressure.
