After declining consistently for the last couple of days, IF grade rebar prices increased marginally by INR 100-400/t on 10 Jun’21, except in a few markets where prices slid by INR 300/t, SteelMint assessment shows. As per trader sources, prices moved up, and buying inquiries improved, due to the uptrend in semi-finished steel prices in the markets of north and central India today. Rebar prices are expected to fluctuate in the near term depending on the volatility in raw material prices.
