HR strip (patra) prices surged by INR 1,400 ($17/t) in Mandi Gobindgarh and by INR 1,300 ($16/t) in Raipur d-o-d today. Current base grade patra (148-200mm, 2mm thick) prices stand at INR 48,300/t ($593/t) exw-Mandi, and INR 46,500/t ($571/t) exw-Raipur. Prices are excluding GST at 18%.
