Hindustan Zinc has partnered with Tata Steel to scale adoption of its low-carbon zinc brand EcoZen in steel manufacturing. The product has a carbon footprint below 1 tCO₂/t, nearly 75% lower than conventional zinc. Its use can reduce emissions by around 400 kg CO₂/t of galvanised steel, supporting Scope 3 reduction goals and strengthening sustainable procurement across the steel value chain.
