Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, preferred to keep offers stable today at INR 63,000/t exw for basic 150mm channel. The sudden hike in prices of semi-finished steel yesterday kept prices supported in the structural steel segment. However, purchase enquiries are weak in the spot market at current high prices, which forced suppliers to offer trade discounts of INR 500-800/t.
