Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur raised prices by INR 500/t today. The current offer for base size of 150mm channel stands at INR 64,000/t exw. Price surge in raw materials and improved trading activity in structural steel in the spot market prompted manufacturers to raise offers. However, trade discounts offered by the suppliers were at over INR 1,000/t.
