Heavy structural steel prices in Raipur declined today by INR 300/t after an INR 400/t drop in the second half of yesterday’s trading session. The current offer for 150 mm channel stands at INR 54,300/t. The manufacturers are also offering trade discounts of around INR 1,000-1,200/t. A correction in billet prices along with weak demand for structural steel in the spot market led to the drop in offers.
