Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur decreased prices by INR 700/t today. The current offer for 150mm channel stands at INR 53,800/t exw. Owing to weak market sentiments, few trading enquiries in structural steel and sluggish demand at higher price levels exerted pressure on prices. Trade discounts in the spot market are hovering up to INR 1,500/t, sources informed.
