Heavy structural steel manufacturers in Raipur, central India, reduced prices by INR 500/t today to INR 63,500/t exw. Prices did not receive support in the spot market due to low trade volumes on high volatility witnessed in billet prices over the last few days. Dull sales resulted in manufacturers keeping offers low and trade discounts offered were tentatively around INR 500-700/t.
