Gujarat-based Mono Steel India Ltd, one of the leading player recently installed a new induction furnace of 30 tonnes in their plant.
With this new furnace, the company’s total number of furnaces reached 8 and daily sponge iron production capacity touched 500 tonnes per day (TPD). It has a rolling capacity of 600 TPD. Furthermore, it is planning to increase its rolling capacity, sources told SteelMint.
