India: Ferrous scrap imports highest in CY’22 till Nov

India’s total ferrous scrap imports was recorded at 6.31 mnt in Jan-Nov’22, as per SteelMint data.
Out of which, bulk scrap arrivals was 1.14 mnt while containers stood at 5.17 mnt in CY’22 till Nov’22.
HMS grade scrap registered with around 4.2 mnt ( 0.52 mnt in bulk and 3.7 mnt in containers). Shredded imports were at around 1.6 mnt (0.52 mnt in bulk and 1.07 mnt in containers) during the same period.
