- India’s ferrous scrap imports were recorded at 300,000 t in Jan’22, down 6% m-o-m from 320,000 t in Dec.
- The UAE was the largest supplier with 70,000 t followed by the USA and Venezuela with 20,000 t each.
- On a year-on-year basis, import volumes declined by 33% from 450,000 t in Jan’21.
