India: Balco hikes aluminium ingot prices by INR 2,500/t ($33/t)

Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) raised primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 2,500/t ($33/t) today on a d-o-d basis.
Post revision, Balco’s effective price stands at INR 285,000/t ($3,800/t).
Meanwhile, Hindalco lowered prices late yesterday by INR 6,250/t ($83/t) on a d-o-d basis to INR 279,750/t ($3,730/t).
