Ferro silicon prices remain on the same level this week as the market continues to witness restricted supply along with stable demand.
SteelMint assessed grade 70-75 is being traded at around INR 65,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan).
Prices of ferro silicon in Bhutan are stable with good demand from Indian steel sector. Sources assume prices to remain firm and perhaps strengthen in the coming month as most producers are down with supply. A Bhutan-based producer said, “I expect the market to remain firm because inventories are low at the moment, and Malaysian Ferro Silicon offers to India are quite high.”
Domestic Ferro Silicon Prices Tracking Bhutanese Offers
In the Indian Ferro silicon market, some inquires have been reported as prices remain stable amid a shortage of supply. Ferro silicon prices in the domestic market were not changed, as prices have found support at these levels. SteelMint assessed grade 70-75 deals are being concluded at around INR 63,000/MT (Ex-Guwahati)
Market sources alluded that this month prices should remain at this level and Ferro Silicon market should run steadily.
