Ferro silicon prices have been keeping static almost for two months, as buying activity continues to be robust.
Ferro Silicon prices in Bhutan remain steady on resilient end-user demand. Prices were stable with keener buying interest from end-users in India. A Bhutanese producer stated, “Ferro silicon prices remain unchanged with considerably good buying.”
SteelMint weekly assessment for ferro silicon (grade 70-75) is at INR 65,000/MT (Ex-Bhutan), unchanged W-o-W.
Export offers from Bhutan to Europe is at around USD 1,030/MT FoB Kolkata.
Domestic Ferro Silicon Prices Balanced on Constant Demand
In the Indian market Ferro Silicon prices were unaltered as sources reported of steady demand.

Market sources said that manganese alloy market is presently very week and so there is pressure on ferro silicon prices. Therefore offers continue to be unchanged despite good demand.
Ferro silicon prices were mainly in line with market expectations, with most participants expecting market to remain stable.
