- India’s ferro chrome exports dropped marginally by 2% m-o-m to 61,351 t in Jul’22 against 62,669 t in Jun’22 owing to a weak demand mainly from Japan and Taiwan at higher prices.
- Major importers were China (35,726 t), South Korea (15,401 t), Japan (3,027 t), and the Netherlands (1,890 t).
- In Jan-Jul’22, cumulative exports were down by 17% y-o-y to 419,339 t compared to the same period last year.
