Indian Ferro Alloys Market reins under pressure as unsold inventory & liquidity issues put downwards pressure on prices.
* Raipur: According to a top official from a major manufacturing company, “Market is more or less stable at present. But buying interest is poor owing to liquidity problems. Production levels have also come down significantly.”
* Durgapur: “Domestic market is weak. Offers are being cut to reduce the stock piles or the unsold inventoriesâ€Â, said a manufacturer based in Durgapur
* Vizag: “Demand is ok. Normally, by the mid of the month, manufacturers are more busy in the settlement of huge electricity bills. So, offers are being cut to improve liquidity in the market. But we do not see prices falling further as we are hopeful to see a pickup in actual demand by the end of August or the 1st week of September”, said a manufacturer in Vizag.
