Billet markets across India was dull this week

Billet buying did not improve during this week. 

In Mandi Gobindgarh and West Bengal, Billet offers increased by Rs 1,000/MT and Rs 300/MT respectively. Whereas, those in Chhattisgarh, Goa and Maharashtra remained at same levels.

Some correction was witnessed in locations such as Rourkela by Rs 200/MT and Hyderabad by Rs 500/MT.

At Mandi Gobindgarh, though demand is good today but sellers are not in a mood to take bookings on expectations of price rise. 

Some local buying was seen in Raipur the day before at Rs 30,300/MT (Basic price).
