Improve buying and limited availability of material have pushed up the offers of ERW Pipes.
ERW Pipe (Electric Resistance Welded Pipe) prices inched up on 09 Jul, 2014 by INR 100-200/MT.
Hyderabad’s offers moved up because of increased buying interest in local market. From past 1 week, prices were stable but on Wednesday, it inched up by INR 100/MT. Native market players expect prices to improve in coming days by INR 200-300/MT or more. Hyderabad based Hariom Pipes has offered at INR 41,100/MT (Pipe basic; advance payment).
Raipur based manufacturers have also increased offers by INR 100/MT.
In a conversation with local manufacturer based at Raipur said, “Buying is not much but owing to increased semi finish prices, we are bound to hike prices.”
Offers in Mandi Gobindgarh also rose from its previous closing rates. On 09 Jul, 2014 market open with slight rise by INR 200/MT.
