India: ERW pipe prices fall further on weak sales

Electric resistance welded (ERW) patra pipe prices declined by INR 400-500/t on dull domestic sales, as per SteelMint reports. Current offers for base grade ERW pipes (41 – 60 OD) are assessed at INR 49,000/t (exw-Raipur) and INR 51,500/t (exw-Mandi). Prices do not include GST at 18%. Prices have dropped in the range of INR 400/t in Raipur and INR 500/t in the Mandi Gobindgarh market, as per SteelMint reports.
