The Indian aluminium scrap market experienced a hike in prices due to raw material shortages and a recent increase in aluminium prices made by primary producers. Tense scrap reached INR 163,000/t, while utensil scrap rose to INR 167,000/t, ex-Delhi, marking an uptick of up to INR 2,000/t, against the last revision. Concurrently, LME future prices slightly decreased by 0.8% to $2,255/t at the reporting time.
