SAIL-Bhilai conducted a crude coal tar auction on 28 Jan’26, wherein the entire offered quantity of 807 tonnes (t) was sold at a weighted average price of INR 41,512/t. This marks a decline of INR 562/t compared to the previous auction held on 15 Jan, which recorded a weighted average price of INR 42,074/t, primarily due to subdued buying sentiment.
