CRC scrap prices have inched higher in major scrap-based markets on 9 Sep’21. Prevailing CRC sheet cutting scrap offers are assessed at INR 39,800-40,200/t at Mandi Gobindgarh. Prices are at INR 36,900-37,400/t in Chennai and at INR 37,500-37,900/t in Maharashtra’s Jalna. Turning scrap offers are reported at INR 32,600-32,900/t and INR 32,000-32,400/t in Jalna and Chennai, respectively, on a DAP basis, excluding GST, market participants informed.
