Brundavana Constructions Private Limited emerged as the highest bidder at the Shanthipriya iron ore mine auction, offering a premium of 161.80%. The block, of around 80.43 Ha, is located in the Bellary district, Karnataka, and has geological resources of 3.65 mnt. The mine comprises deposits of average-grade Fe 61.90% (haematitic iron ore) and Fe 38.11% (haematitic siliceous iron ore). However, official confirmation is still awaited.
