SAIL conducted an auction for 2,850 t (1 rake) of basic grade pig iron on 31 Mar ’21 from its Bokaro Steel Plant, Jharkhand. Entire quantity was booked at INR 37,200/t exw, sources reported to SteelMint. Bid price shot up by INR 2,750/t as compared to the previous auction conducted on 24 Mar in which one rake of pig iron was booked at INR 34,450/t exw.
